About
Tiffany Cherry White has been playing piano since the age of five and has been composing since the age of eleven. But it was John Barry’s score for the film Somewhere in Time that inspired her to become a film composer when she was 14.
Tiffany attended high school at the DeKalb Center for the Performing Arts (DCPA). During her time at DCPA, Tiffany placed first in piano performance and composition in the DeKalb County regional division Act-So competition. She then went on to earn third place in the National Act-So Awards for her piece “The Lonely Painter.” Tiffany was accepted into Berklee College of Music and while there she was awarded the BMI Film Scoring Scholarship for excellence in her major, which was presented by late film composer Basil Poledouris. She graduated magna cum laude.
Since graduating from Berklee, Tiffany has continued to perform and compose all over the world. She has performed at the White House, toured in Italy, South Africa and numerous cities in the states. She has sung alongside notable performers such as The Zac Brown Band, STS9, Bernard Purdie and Fred Wesley to name a few. She released her debut album in 2020 under the name Cherry White and currently plays keys and sings in the band Wren & the Wravens.
